School Overview

Middle College High School at Durham Technical Community College (MCHS) is a unique, collaborative partnership between Durham Public Schools and Durham Technical Community College. Located on the college campus, the school serves students in grades 11 and 12 who are seeking a non-traditional, college-focused environment. By integrating high school coursework with college-level instruction, the program allows students to earn their high school diplomas while simultaneously earning college credits, certifications, or even associate degrees, effectively bridging the gap between secondary and post-secondary education.

The school is designed for students who thrive in an independent, professional atmosphere and are motivated to jumpstart their collegiate or career paths.
