MEDIA ARTS COLLABORATIVE CHARTER

MEDIA ARTS COLLABORATIVE CHARTER is a Title I public charter high school that is part of the NEW MEXICO ACADEMY FOR THE MEDIA ARTS school district, located in ALBUQUERQUE, NM with about 247 students offering grade levels from 6th Grade to 12th Grade. A Title I school provides supplemental financial assistance to school districts for children from low-income families. Its purpose is to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education. With about 20 teachers, MEDIA ARTS COLLABORATIVE CHARTER has a student/teacher ratio of about 12:1. The national average for public schools is about 15:1. MEDIA ARTS COLLABORATIVE CHARTER School (MACCS) is a specialized public charter school located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, that focuses on integrating rigorous academic instruction with hands-on, industry-standard media arts training. Serving students in grades 6–12, the school emphasizes a project-based learning model where students gain technical proficiency in areas such as film production, digital photography, animation, graphic design, and audio engineering.
