Lionsgate Academy - Lynx Program

Lionsgate Academy’s LYNX program is a specialized post-secondary transition initiative designed for young adults (ages 18–21) who have graduated from high school but require additional support to reach their full potential. The program focuses on providing a bridge between the structured environment of K-12 education and the complexities of adult life. By centering its curriculum on "real-world" skill development, the LYNX program helps students cultivate the independence necessary to navigate life after the school system, particularly for students who may benefit from an autism-aware and neurodiversity-affirming approach.

Located in North Saint Paul, the program emphasizes three core pillars: independent living, community engagement, and vocational training. Students work on personalized goals that range from developing social and self-advocacy skills to securing and maintaining employment and mastering transit or household management. By creating a collaborative environment that involves students, families, and community partners, the LYNX program aims to foster a successful transition into adulthood, ensuring that its participants are empowered to contribute to their communities and live as independently as possible.
