COMAL ISD

Headquartered at 1404 IH 35 N in New Braunfels, Texas, Comal Independent School District (Comal ISD) is an active, traditional public school system serving the expanding San Antonio–New Braunfels metropolitan area. Situated within a vibrant rural fringe setting, the district manages 37 operational schools that provide a complete educational continuum from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Comal ISD supports a thriving student body of 29,839 learners, reflecting a rich demographic mix that includes 14,840 White students, 12,148 Hispanic students, and strong representation among multiracial, Black, Asian, Pacific Islander, and American Indian communities.
