The Tarrant County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP) serves as a mandatory disciplinary placement facility for students in Tarrant County who have committed specific offenses that require removal from their traditional home campus. Operating under the oversight of the Tarrant County Juvenile Board, the program is designed to provide a highly structured, secure environment that emphasizes academic continuity alongside behavioral intervention. The curriculum focuses on core subject areas—such as English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies—to ensure that students do not fall behind in their grade-level requirements while serving their disciplinary term.
