The Texas School for the Deaf (TSD), located in the heart of Austin, serves as a premier educational institution and resource center for deaf and hard-of-hearing students across the state. As the oldest continuously operating public school in Texas, TSD provides a comprehensive, bilingual-bicultural academic environment where American Sign Language (ASL) and English are integrated to foster cognitive development and academic success.
