BISMARCK TECH CENTER

The Bismarck Career & Technical Education (CTE) Center, located on the campus of Bismarck State College, serves as a specialized educational hub for high school students in the Bismarck-Mandan area. The center is designed to bridge the gap between traditional secondary education and professional readiness by offering hands-on, career-focused coursework. Students can enroll in specialized programs that range from automotive technology and construction trades to health sciences, graphic design, and information technology, allowing them to gain practical skills and industry-standard certifications while still in high school.

Beyond technical skill-building, the Bismarck CTE Center emphasizes post-secondary success by fostering partnerships with local industries and higher education institutions. Many of the programs offered provide students with the opportunity to earn dual-credit, allowing them to gain a head start on college degrees or technical certifications simultaneously with their high school diploma. By integrating classroom theory with real-world application, the center prepares students to enter the workforce immediately upon graduation or to transition smoothly into advanced training in their chosen career fields.
