Technical Education & Career Center

The Arlington Career Center (ACC) serves as a specialized high school within the Arlington Public Schools district, offering a diverse array of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs designed to bridge the gap between academic study and real-world professional experience. Unlike traditional high schools, the center functions as an extension for students from across the county, providing hands-on training in fields such as automotive technology, culinary arts, cybersecurity, health sciences, cosmetology, and various digital media disciplines. The curriculum is intentionally structured to help students earn industry-recognized certifications and college credit while still in high school, giving them a significant head start in both the workforce and post-secondary education.

Beyond its technical offerings, the Career Center emphasizes a project-based learning environment that fosters critical thinking and professional collaboration. It provides a unique educational setting where students can explore career passions that may not be fully available at their home schools.
