PROJECT RETURN

Project Return is an alternative educational program operated by the Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate School District. Located in Little Canada, Minnesota, the school is specifically designed to serve students in grades 7–12 who require a more specialized, supportive environment than a traditional comprehensive high school can provide. Its primary mission is to offer a structured, therapeutic, and academic setting that helps students overcome barriers to learning—such as behavioral, social, or emotional challenges—to help them earn their credits and stay on track for graduation.

The program emphasizes a holistic approach to education, focusing not only on core academics but also on social-emotional development and life skills. By maintaining smaller class sizes and a high staff-to-student ratio, Project Return fosters a more personalized learning experience, allowing teachers to provide the individualized attention and consistent support necessary for student success.
