OSSEO ALC ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS

Osseo ALC Alternative Programs is a Title I public high school that is part of the OSSEO PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT school district, located in BROOKLYN PARK, MN with about 11 students offering grade levels from 9th Grade to 12th Grade. A Title I school provides supplemental financial assistance to school districts for children from low-income families. Its purpose is to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education.

The Osseo Area Learning Center (ALC) is an alternative educational program within the Osseo Area School District (District 279) designed to serve students who may benefit from a more flexible or specialized approach to learning than that offered by traditional high schools. Located in Brooklyn Park, the center provides a supportive environment for students who are credit-deficient, have faced challenges in a conventional classroom setting, or are seeking a non-traditional path to high school graduation. By offering smaller class sizes and individualized instruction, the ALC helps students earn the necessary credits to meet Minnesota’s academic requirements while preparing them for life after graduation.
