Oakland Early College (OEC), located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is a unique, tuition-free public early college high school program. Housed on the campus of Oakland Community College (OCC), it is designed for students who are ready to pursue a challenging academic path that merges their final years of high school with college-level coursework. Unlike traditional high schools, OEC allows students to earn both their high school diploma and up to 60 transferable college credits—or an associate degree—simultaneously, significantly reducing the time and cost of a post-secondary education.
