Covenant House Academy Detroit East Site

Covenant House Academy Detroit (CHAD) at the East Site is a specialized charter high school dedicated to serving young people, aged 16 to 22, who have faced significant obstacles in traditional educational settings. Many of the students enrolled at the East location have experienced or are currently facing homelessness, housing instability, or other life challenges that previously interrupted their academic progress. By operating under a "dropout recovery" model, the school provides a flexible, supportive environment designed to help students earn their high school diplomas while gaining the life skills necessary for self-sufficiency.
