Covenant House Academy (CHA) Detroit – Southwest is a specialized public charter high school dedicated to serving young people, aged 16–22, who have faced significant obstacles in their pursuit of an education. Operating within a trauma-informed framework, the school specifically targets students who have previously dropped out or struggled in traditional school settings, including those experiencing homelessness, housing instability, or other life challenges.
