Great Lakes Cyber Academy is a Title I public charter high school that is part of the Great Lakes Learning Academy school district, located in Okemos, MI with about 1,017 students offering grade levels from 6th Grade to 12th Grade. Because it operates entirely online, GLCA is designed to serve students who may thrive outside of a traditional brick-and-mortar classroom, including those who need personalized pacing, have extracurricular commitments, or require a different academic setting.

The school combines a structured curriculum with the support of Michigan-certified teachers who interact with students through virtual classrooms, email, and phone calls. Parents or guardians play an integral role as "Learning Coaches," working closely with teachers to monitor progress and support their child's daily schoolwork at home. By leveraging a digital platform, Great Lakes Cyber Academy aims to provide a comprehensive education that meets state standards while offering the convenience and individualized attention of a remote learning model.
