WEST ROXBURY ACADEMY

West Roxbury Academy is a Title I public high school that is part of the Boston school district, located in West Roxbury, MA with about 475 students offering grade levels from 9th Grade to 12th Grade. West Roxbury Academy (WRA) was a public high school located in the West Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, serving students within the Boston Public Schools (BPS) district. The school was designed to provide a comprehensive secondary education with a focus on preparing students for post-secondary success, whether through college enrollment or career pathways. As part of a larger campus complex that formerly housed multiple specialized academies, the school emphasized small learning communities to help foster stronger relationships between students and faculty.

It is important to note that West Roxbury Academy is no longer in operation. As part of a broader district-wide restructuring initiative known as the "BuildBPS" plan, the Boston Public Schools officially closed the school in June 2019. The site formerly occupied by the academy has since undergone transition, reflecting the evolving landscape of educational facilities in Boston.
