PROJECT SOAR

Project SOAR is a public high school that is part of the Alxndr/Jcksn/Pulsk/Prry/Union ROE school district, located in Du Quoin, IL with about 7 students offering grade levels from 11th Grade to 12th Grade.

Project SOAR (Success, Opportunity, Achievement, and Responsibility) in Du Quoin, Illinois, is an alternative educational program designed to support students who may struggle in a traditional classroom setting. Operating under the umbrella of the Perry County Educational Service Region, the school focuses on providing a structured, supportive environment that emphasizes academic credit recovery, behavioral intervention, and social-emotional growth. By maintaining smaller class sizes and personalized instruction, the program aims to help students who have fallen behind re-engage with their education and work toward the ultimate goal of high school graduation or transition back to their home district.
