CROSSROADS HOPE ACADEMY

CROSSROADS HOPE ACADEMY is a Title I public charter high school that is part of the CHARLOTTE school district, located in PUNTA GORDA, FL with about 21 students offering grade levels from 6th Grade to 12th Grade. A Title I school provides supplemental financial assistance to school districts for children from low-income families. Its purpose is to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education.

CROSSROADS HOPE ACADEMY, located in Punta Gorda, Florida, is a specialized residential campus designed to serve boys aged 13–18 who are within the foster care system. Operated by the Charlotte County Youth Services, the academy functions as a therapeutic, long-term foster home and educational facility. Its primary mission is to provide a structured, supportive environment that focuses on stability, academic success, and the development of essential life skills for young men who have often faced significant trauma or instability in their pasts.

The program distinguishes itself by moving beyond a traditional institutional feel, instead fostering a "home-like" atmosphere where residents can build meaningful relationships with mentors and staff.
