North High School Engagement Center

The North High School Engagement Center (NEC), located on the campus of Denver North High School, is a specialized educational program designed to support students who are at risk of dropping out or who need an alternative path to graduation. The center focuses on providing a smaller, more personalized learning environment that emphasizes credit recovery and academic acceleration. By utilizing a flexible curriculum and individualized learning plans, the NEC helps students overcome barriers—such as credit deficiencies or personal challenges—that might otherwise prevent them from successfully completing their high school education.

Beyond academics, the Engagement Center prioritizes student well-being and long-term success through a wraparound support model. The program integrates social-emotional support, career counseling, and mentorship to help students build the skills necessary for post-secondary life.
