The University of Wyoming Laboratory School (often referred to as the "Lab School") is a unique K-5 public school located on the University of Wyoming campus in Laramie. Operating in partnership with Albany County School District #1, the school serves as a professional development site where UW faculty and teacher candidates collaborate with experienced K-5 educators. Because of this connection to the university’s College of Education, the school often utilizes evidence-based, innovative teaching methods and serves as a hub for educational research and best practices in the state.
