JULIUS E SPRAUVE

The Julius E. Sprauve School (JESS) is a public pre-K through 8th-grade institution located in Cruz Bay on the island of Saint John, U.S. Virgin Islands. As the primary public school serving the island's youth, it occupies a central role in the local community. The school has historically been a focal point for island families, providing foundational education across its primary and middle school grade levels while navigating the unique geographic and logistical challenges of operating within the Virgin Islands Department of Education system.
