Aldridge Elem School

Aldridge Elementary School, located in the Riverdale neighborhood on the far south side of Chicago, serves students in Pre-K through 8th grade as part of the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) system. Named after the pioneering African American scientist and explorer Ira Aldridge, the school functions as a foundational community hub in the Altgeld Gardens public housing area.
